How Much Hair Should I Buy?

Updated 2 years ago by Zena

The amount of extensions you need to purchase can vary based on the length and thickness of your hair as well as the style you want. We highly recommend consulting with your stylist to get an approximation of how much hair they think you would need for your desired look. If you have thin to medium hair, you will need about 20-30 sandwiches of tape-in extensions or 1 pack of clip-in extensions.  If you have short or thick hair, you will need more packs of hair to blend your natural hair with the extensions- about 40-50 sandwich bonds of tape-ins and 2 or more packs of clip-in extensions. We recommend 2-3 weft bundles for a full installation, but you may need more or less depending on how many rows you would like and how much hair volume you want.

Ponytails, Glam Bands, and U-Part Wigs can be doubled up if desired or can be combined with other extensions such as clip-ins for additional length or volume.
