Heat and Tools

Updated 2 years ago by Zena

Glam Seamless extensions are able to be heat styled using a variety of tools such as straighteners, curling irons, crimpers, or wavers. Extensions are just as fragile as your own hair so we have a few tips to style your hair without ruining your extensions!

1) Be sure to use a heat protectant before applying heat. This forms a barrier and protects the hair from direct heat damage.

2) We recommend applying heat of no more than 350° Fahrenheit on your extensions.

3) Do not apply heat to the tape-top of a tape-in extension, whether it's during installation or when styling on a daily basis. Our tape-in extensions do not require heat to be installed.
